Bipin Tripathi Kumaon Institute of Technology offers the admission to B.Tech program on the basis of the score of JEE Main or UKSEE followed by counselling.

Candidates who have passed B. Tech in the relevant discipline from any recognized university are eligible to apply. The admission is offered on the basis of GATE or UTU entrance followed by counselling.

User Facts:

• 60 seats are available in each discipline of B.Tech course except for Bio- Chemical Engineering for which the total intake is 30.
• In each branch, 2% of intake is reserved for Kashmiri migrants.
• 5% seats are reserved under Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme.
• 10% and 5% seats are reserved for other state quota and Non-Resident Indian (NRIs) respectively.

To secure admission in the MCA course, the candidates should hold any graduation degree from a recognized university. Admission to second year (Lateral Entry) to the MCA program is made through the counselling conducted by UTU on the basis of UKSEE rank.

Note: Total 60 seats are available for the MCA course.

Students with good academic background along with a relevant Master’s Degree can apply for the Doctoral programs. The application forms can be downloaded directly from the college website. Final admission is granted on the basis performance in the written test followed by an interview.
