The minimum eligibility for the Ph.D. program is that a candidate should possess a Master’s or equivalent degree in any discipline with 60% marks in aggregate or 6 CGPA on the 10-points scale or a B.Tech/B.Arch degree with 70% marks.

Ph.D. program is available in both full-time as well as part-time mode.

• The minimum eligibility criterion for candidates seeking admission under SC/ ST/ PD categories is 5.5 CGPA or 55% marks in aggregate.
• Employees of IIT Roorkee or organizations under IIT are exempted from the requirements of GATE/ UGC-NET/CSIR-NET for admission in Ph.D.
• The foreign national candidates seeking admission to Ph.D. must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the relevant field

Department of Management Studies, IIT offers a Ph.D. degree in multiple disciplines of Management Studies such as- Financial Management, Information Systems, Data Science, Knowledge Management, Marketing Management, Operations Research, Organisational Behavior, Human Resource Management, and Quality Management.

DoMS IIT Roorkee Ph.D. Eligibility
