The Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU) invites applications for full-time Ph.D research courses in the field of Education, Medical, Engineering, Nano Science & Technology.

Candidates can get admission through Pre-Ph.D registration test and interview conducted by the university. The application form can be submitted through online and offline mode. The form can be downloaded from the official website. Candidates can apply for the above-mentioned course by submitting the application fees of INR 1000 (INR 500 for SC/ST) through DD (Demand Draft).

Eligibility Criteria

Admission Process

• Selection of the candidate to the above-mentioned course is done on the basis of Pre-Ph.D registration test (PRT) and interview conducted by the university.
• The eligible candidates will be screened and the selected applicants will be called for Pre-Ph.D. Registration Test (PRT) followed by personal interview.
• The candidates possessing fellowships like UGC/CSIR-NET JRF, DBT-JRF, ICMR-JRF, INSPIRE, etc. are exempted from PRT.

• Fill the required personal and educational details.
• A demand draft of INR 1000 (INR 500 for SC/ST candidates) should be submitted in favour of AKU, REGISTRATION AND EXAMINATION FUND payable at Patna. 
• Submit the application form.

Offline Mode:

• Download the application form from the official website www.akubihar.ac.in.
• Fill the required personal and educational details.
• A demand draft of INR1000 (INR 500 for SC/ST candidates) should be submitted in favour of AKU, REGISTRATION AND EXAMINATION FUND payable at Patna.
