ULTRA College of Engineering & Technology is the sixth educational institution under the ULTRA Trust, started by Prof. K.R. Arumugam, in the year 2009. It is the first women's engineering college in Madurai and only engineering college in Tamil Nadu offering mechanical engineering course exclusively but now it’s co-educational. The campus is just 6 Km from Madurai Mattuthavani bus-stand on Madurai-Chennai Highway.

The faculty of the institute is their greatest asset. Their devotion towards education is helping the women community to occupy a position in the corporate world as well as in society. The institute is working on the global upliftment of every individual.
