For lateral entry admission to the B.E /B.Tech program, candidates should have passed three year’s Diploma in the relevant branch of Engineering/ Technology from the State Board (Tamil Nadu) or any other equivalent board. Students must obtain at least 60% in their respective 10th and 12th Board Examinations to be eligible to study this course. To collect the application form which will cost 500 INR. And they can also call the admin office's number to get information about the application process. I had not availed of any reservation benefits. Sometimes the Staff responsible for attending calls from parents won't pick up the calls. and in case we are about to pay the fee in cash it would take atleast an hour because there is one counter to pay and that would cost your time.

According to my friends studying at this college, there are both advantages and disadvantages attached to it. So let us look at these and then decide if it is worth something or not.
Advantages -
The facilities of the college are appreciable.
Good quality food is served including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and tea time.
Hostel rooms are cleaned and well ventilated along with the cupboards.
The library is full of books and the faculty provides the notes preparing for exams.
Also, you can avail yourself of bus facilities that cover most parts of the city.
Most importantly the toppers of departments are rewarded with cash prizes.
Disadvantages -
Since you are spoon-fed in college you don't develop your thinking skills and this hampers your overall growth and performance.
There are no extra-curricular activities involved.
You are not allowed to take your mobile phones, if you want to talk to your parents or guardians, you have to talk through a landline.
The placement cell is not very active, for getting recruited in some company you should be excellent in all your skills.
Moreover, the interaction between girls and boys is strictly prohibited.
So through overall analysis, we can say that besides providing good quality education to students, the atmosphere for learning is not very appreciable
