Institute of Business Management and Technology (IBMT) is one of the top B-Schools located in Bangalore. It is affiliated with Bangalore University.

IBMT currently runs 4 UG-level courses viz. B.Com, BBA, BCA and B.Sc. Computer Science; and 3 PG-level courses, which include MBA, MFA and MIB degree programs.

Candidates can request a copy of the application form by sending the prescribed application fee via demand draft to the institute’s admission cell.

Candidates applying for any of the UG courses must have passed their intermediate level exam (10+2) with at least 50% aggregate marks.
Applicants for the PG courses must have completed graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks.
Candidates are selected on the basis of a selection process which includes an entrance test conducted by the institute.
Candidates who have appeared for CAT/MAT/K-MAT/XAT/NAT/ATMA/PGCET/CST (Competence in Software Technology) do not require to take the test.
All candidates must appear for a counselling session for a final round of selection.

IBMT UG Admission 2023: B.Com, BBA, BCA and B.Sc

IBMT offers 4 different courses at the undergraduate level. The courses include a B.Com. degree (affiliated to Bangalore University), a BBA degree, a BCA degree and a B.Sc. in Computer Science degree. Application forms for the courses are accepted through offline mode only.

The minimum eligibility criteria to seek admission to any of the programs is 10+2 in any stream with 50% minimum aggregate marks.

Candidates applying for any of the UG courses are selected through a written test conducted by the institute. Candidates must attend a counselling session conducted by the institute following which the final merit list is declared.

Note:

A dedicated placement cell provides placement assistance to all eligible candidates.
In addition to classroom lectures, students are exposed to other learning methods such as practical case studies, audio-visual presentations, games, situational role-plays, etc.
Students are graded on the basis of CGPA system.

IBMT MBA, MFA and MIB Admission 2023

IBMT offers 3 PG level courses, viz. MBA, Master of Fine Arts (MFA) and Master of International Business (MIB). The basic eligibility criterion for admission to these courses is graduation in any discipline with 50% marks. Candidates with Mathematics, Economics and Statistics subjects are given preference.

Selection to either of the courses is done through a written test conducted by the institute. Those with a valid CET score (CAT/MAT/XAT/K-MAT) can apply for direct admission on the basis of merit.

Important points about PG admission:

Foreign and NRI students, whose mother tongue is not English, should produce TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS or BEC score, or any other proof of English Proficiency Test acceptable to the Institute.
Special consideration is given to women candidates and candidates from the Northeastern States, minorities and weaker sections of society.

IBMT Application Process 2023

IBMT accepts applications from eligible candidates through offline mode. Candidates can request a copy of the prospectus and application form from the institute’s admission office by sending a Demand Draft for INR 1000 in favor of “Institute of Business Management & Technology” payable at Bangalore.

Alternatively, the candidate can also download the form from the institute’s website and send the filled-in copy along with a demand draft by courier, registered mail or speed post. Self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents must be attached with the completed application form.

List of the requisite documents to be submitted:

Photocopy of school / PUC certificate.
Photocopies of all degrees/diplomas from college/university and marks/grades obtained. Photocopies of all awards and achievements, extra-curricular activities, additional qualification, work experience, etc.
One passport size photograph (not older than six months)
Letter of sponsorship (in case of Sponsored Candidates)
One Self-addressed envelope with postage stamps of Rs.50 only.
