Course Information

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with 50 % marks ( 49.50% and above to be considered as 50%), ( Minimum 45% in case of Backward Class categories , ) ( 44.50% and above to be considered as 45 %). and having at least participation in the Inter-college/ Inter-zonal/ District/ School competition in Sports and Games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Government of India. OR
The candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education with 45% marks ( 44.50% and above to be considered as 45 %). (Minimum 40% marks in case of Backward Class Categories) (39.50% and above to be considered as 40 %). OR
The candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with 45% marks (44.50% and above to be considered as 45 % .(Minimum 40% marks in case of Backward Class Categories (39.50% and above to be considered as 40 %) and studied Physical Education as compulsory /elective subject. OR
The candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree with 45% marks ( 44.50% and above to be considered as 45 % ) (Minimum 40% marks in case of Backward Class Categories) ( 39.50% and above to be considered as 40 %) and having participated in National /Inter-University /State Competitions or secured 1st ,2nd or 3rd position in Inter-college /inter–zonal /district /school competition in Sports and Games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Government of India. OR
The candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree with participation in International Competitions or secured 1st , 2nd or 3rd position in Inter-college /inter–zonal /district /school competition in Sports and Games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Government of India. OR
The candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree with 45% marks (44.50% and above to be considered as 45 % (Minimum 40% marks in case of Backward Class Categories )( 39.50% and above to be considered as 40 %) and at least three years of teaching experience (for deputed in-service candidates i.e. trained physical education teachers/ coaches).
Other State Candidates: Candidates from Out- side Maharashtra Universities will be considered as Open Category candidates and criteria applicable to Open category candidates will be applicable to them.
Jammu & Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidates: The number of seats for this quota shall be as per the policy of the Government. These seats shall be filled in by the Competent Authority within the sanctioned intake capacity of the Course.
