Candidate should be Passed 10+2 or High School Senior Secondary exam by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any equivalent exam conducted by any State Board or Equivalent. All SC/ST candidates have a relaxation of 5% in the minimum aggregate.

• General category candidates with at least 45% marks are eligible for admission.
• Scheduled caste/scheduled tribe, other backward category, line of actual control, and physical handicapped students with 40 % marks in the Higher Secondary Examination Part-II/Senior Secondary Examination (+2), or its equivalent are eligible for admission.
• Admisson shall be made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination, or as the Board may form time to time notify.
• There shall be reservation of seats for SC / ST / OBC / LOC / and physically handicapped candidates, as per the rules of J&K State Government / Central Government.
