At postgraduate level, UIT Dehradun offers two courses such as Master of Science (M.Sc) in Industrial Chemistry and Master of Technology (M.Tech) in six different specializations. The courses offered are for a duration period of two years each. Intake capacity depends upon the nature of courses.
Candidates seeking admission in M.Tech need to appear in General Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Apart from the entrance test, the candidate must have qualified his / her Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline with minimum required marks. Students who have successfully completed their Graduation Degree in B.Sc can apply for M.Sc. Admission to the M.Sc will be made through the counseling organized by The Uttaranchal University.
Note: A relaxation of 5% of marks is given to SC / ST candidates as compared to 50% marks for General category candidates
