School of Management has been one of the top notch colleges in its sector. The Management School was first rooted as the Institute of Petroleum Management, Gandhinagar (IPMG) in 2006 as an aegis of Gujarat Energy Research and Management Institute (GERMI) which was established as a trust and a society by GSPC (Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation), a Government of Gujarat Undertaking. In the following year of 2007, GERMI established Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) and IPMG became the constituent of PDPU, and the name of the college was changed to School of Management (SPM). The college dwells with a vision of being an internationally renowned national figure and serve as the torch bearer in quality management education. SPM thrives to provide the most and diversified form of Energy Engineering and make intellects who can fulfill their social obligations by making energy efficient and environmentally viable machines. The institute has its prime objective of acting as the hub of research in the field of energy efficiency for the national and international practitioners alike. In this respect many internationally acclaimed universities have signed treaties of intellectual agreement with School of Management and serve as assets in its cause of rising as an energy management superpower.
Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University School of Management (PDPU SPM) is located in Gujarat, Gandhinagar. It is a private University established by GERMI through the State act passed on April 4, 2007. The university offers management courses.

The admission stages involved in the MBA admission are as follows:
- Interested candidates will have to register themselves for the MBA admission by filling out the application form available on the official webiste.
- The candidates should have a valid score in CAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ MAT exam and based on that, they we be shortisted.
- The shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussions (GD), Written Ability Test (WAT), and a Personal interview (PI).
- The final selection will be based on various parameters like performce in the exams, Group Discussion, Written Ability Test, Personal Interview, previous Academics, and Work Experience.
