SDMIMD Mysore PGDM Eligibility

• Graduates/Final Year Graduation students appearing for CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT/NMAT or who already have valid CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT/NMAT scores. 
• Candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate in 10+2+3 qualifying exams.

SDMIMD Mysore PGDM Selection Criteria

• Applicants will be shortlisted based on consistent academic performance, competitive exam score, recognition of participation in extracurricular activities including sports, debates, theatre, fine arts, etc. and work experience if applicable finally for the admission.
• Shortlisted applicants, based on the consistent academic performance, extracurricular activities will be called for Personal Interview in February - March 2021 to be held at several centres across India as mentioned in the Application Form (Online interviews are also scheduled on request).
• Selected students will be intimated by email/phone/mobile. The seats will be blocked for admission on receipt of the first installment of fees by the due date as mentioned in the Offer Letter.
• The seats will be confirmed subject to the receipt of the student’s entrance exam score and payment of the Second installment of fees.
• Candidates seeking admission must appear for any one of the following exams:
  • CAT
  • XAT
  • GMAT
  • CMAT
  • ATMA
  • MAT

Cut Off: There is no stated cut-off. However, there is a 35% weightage given for Competitive Exams.

SDMIMD Mysore PGDM How to Apply?

The registration process is conducted online. 

• The candidates must visit the official website of the institute 
• Register by entering the name, email id, and mobile number.
• Proceed to fill the application form:

• Candidates must enter their valid entrance test scores.
• Pay the fees of INR 1,250 via online payment gateway or through DD.
  • The D.D. should be in favor of- The Director, SDM Institute for Management Development, Payable at Mysore, D.D.

• Students who are yet to register for any entrance exam may also apply. After applying for SDMIMD PGDM 2021-23, they may send details of their entrance exam registration by Email to admission@sdmimd.ac.in, duly mentioning their Name & SDMIMD Application Number.
• If the candidates have not applied for the entrance exam, the candidates can apply through their Online Application form and send the same registration details later by email to admission@sdmimd.ac.in.

SDMIMD offers a year-long full-time Post Graduate Certificate in Management (PGCM).

SDMIMD Mysore PGCM Eligibility

• Graduates from any discipline
• Should have obtained at least 50% marks in Graduation
• Final year students are eligible to apply
• Must possess a valid score in CAT/GMAT/MAT/XAT/NMAT/KMAT/ SDMIMD Admission Test (SAT)

SDMIMD Mysore PGCM Selection Criteria

Admission to the PGCM course will be granted on the basis of the candidate’s score in the entrance exam.

The candidates who didn’t appear for the CAT/MAT/XAT or GMAT exam must appear for SDMIMD Admission Test (SAT) which is conducted by the institute itself.

The test will be conducted online and it will comprise of 35 questions which are to be answered in 45 minutes.

The Final Selection Process will include scrutinizing the filled application followed by a Personal Interview (PI). 

• The Personal Interview (PI), will be conducted in-person or interview on Skype.
• Candidates will receive the results of the personal interview within 24 hours.
• An admission call letter for the selected students will be sent by email.

SDMIMD Mysore PGCM How to Apply?

The application form for PGCM can be accessed via the official website of SDMIMD 

• Enter the name.
• The exam registration number.
• Fill in the personal details.
• Followed by the correspondence details.
• Enter Academic Qualifications and Work Experience.
• Upload the photograph.
• Pay the fee for INR. 500/-
• Submit the form.

The institute offers a Ph.D. under the discipline of Management Studies.

SDMIMD Mysore Ph.D. Eligibility

• Master's Degree from a recognized University or Institution, with a minimum of 55% marks.
• Candidates who have cleared the Ph.D. Admission Entrance Test conducted by the University of Mysore can apply.
• Candidates qualified for University Grants Commission – Junior Research Fellow (UGC-JRF) or with M.Phil. Degree completed having entered the program through a prescribed entrance exam are exempted from Admission Entrance Test and they can directly apply.

Preference in respect of eligibility:

• Executives with experience of at least 3 years in Industry or allied sector in the corporate sector.
• A faculty member of a B-School or Management Department of College or University.
• Post Graduate Diplomas in specific disciplines such as retailing, finance, marketing, HR and other allied courses.

SDMIMD Mysore Ph.D. Selection Criteria

Admission to the Ph.D. program in management offered at SMDIMD is based on candidate’s score in the Ph.D. Admission Entrance Test conducted by the University of Mysore.

• UGC-JRF or M.Phil. qualified candidates are exempted from the Admission Entrance Test. 
• They are eligible for Direct Admission.
• All the eligible candidates have to appear for the personal interview round by the SMD Management Research Centre.
