Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru Government College is a degree college located in Faridabad, Haryana. The college was established in 1971. It affiliated to Maharishi Dayanand University, (MDU), Rohtak which also conducts the admission process.

The college offers graduate and post graduate degree courses in BA, B.Sc., BBA, BCA, B.Com, MA, M.Sc. and M.Com respectively.

In Nehru College, admission to under graduate courses like B.A., B.Sc., BCA, BBA and B.Com. are conducted on the basis of merit in 10+2 examination.

Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru Government College UG Admission 2023

The college offers B.A. and B.A. (Hons.) degree in six specializations for regular students. The basic eligibility to apply for B.A. is candidate should be passed class 12^th in Arts stream or should be HSC with any of vocational subjects.

The college offers undergraduate course in Science B.Sc. Regular and Hons. in four disciplines. The basic eligibility for the course is 10+2 pass in science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology subject.

The college offers undergraduate course in Commerce, i.e. B.Com. The course is offered in two types regular or Hons. The basic eligibility for the course is 10+2 pass in commerce stream.

The college also offers bachelor degree courses of BBA and BCA. A candidate passed Senior Secondary examination with 45% marks in aggregate or any other examination recognized by MDU as equivalent is eligible for admission in B.B.A. and B.C.A. course.

Any 10+2 or equivalent qualification approved by Higher Education Board of Haryana is eligible for admission in general course. For Honors courses General Category, required percentage in 10+2 is 50% and for reserved category, required minimum marks is 45%.

The college Master’s degree in Arts in five specializations. Admissions to these courses are done on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying exam i.e. bachelor’s degree. College also offers master’s degree in Science in Computer Science and Mathematics.
