IMT is indeed a brand name but unfortunately, the brand's credibility is applicable only to IMT Ghaziabad. The other campuses carry very little brand worth and legacy of IMT. If there is an IMT that is slightly near to comparison then it is IMT Hyderabad. The other campuses are new and lack recognition. IMT Hyderabad campus is visited by some extremely reputed local companies thereby offering better placement opportunities.

Some institutes that give an edge to IMT Hyderabad in Hyderabad itself are

ASB (Ashoka School of Business) Hyderabad,
NMIMS
SIBM
Hyderabad Business School

ASB offers dual specialization and good placement at only INR 6.9 Lacs. The ROI period is only around a year.

How is the current scenario of placement in IMT Hyderabad, Ghaziabad and Nagpur?

You should first figure out if you are planning to join the college for placements or if you actually wish to improve yourself. 10 years back, a lot of students from IMT Nagpur did not get placements and jobs.

It does not mean that you will not get placed at all. You will ultimately get a job but you should remember that ultimately what will help you is what you have learned during your degree. Your focus should be on your teachers as they will ensure that your base concepts are good and jobs will keep coming later in your life.

IMT Nagpur placements aren’t good. It’s not worth joining the college if you are looking for good placement packages. Here are the highlights for 2022 placements.

IMT Nagpur is among the tier-3 or tier-4 B-schools. The cutoff, pedagogy, peer group, and placements are nowhere near IMT Ghaziabad. According to the recent placement highlights, IMT Nagpur average package is around INR 10 LPA.

The required CAT cutoff is around 75 percentile. You can expect an interview call if you score 75+ in CAT.

Which is good for marketing, BIMTECH or IMT Nagpur?

During IMT Nagpur placement 2022, the highest CTC, i.e. INR 23.57 LPA was offered by the Marketing sector. Students of Marketing specialization usually receive an average CTC of around INR 7 LPA. The major recruiters are usually from FMCG, BFSI, FMCD, and Manufacturing sectors.

Among these options, IMT Ghaziabad DCP is the best. Although expensive, this course offers better career prospects. Compared to Nagpur and Hyderabad campuses, IMTG is recognized in the industry. The dual country program offers exposure on an international level.

IMT Ghaziabad placements in 2022 witnessed an average CTC of INR 15.28 LPA. The highest CTC offered this year was INR 62 LPA.

Which is better: BIMTECH Core or IMT N Finance?

Both the colleges are equivalently comparable. BIMTECH wins hands down owing to its location and the Birla brand value. Many of my friends have graduated from BIMTECH, they suggested BIMTECH Core because the exposure you will get at NCR will be much better than at Nagpur.
