Candidates from backward classes are eligible for admission with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in graduation.
Final year graduate students can also apply, provided they have to submit a certificate authorised from institute/university about authentication of their result awaiting status.

ISBS Pune PGDM Selection Criteria

Shortlisting of the candidate for GD, PI rounds and counselling rounds will be done under ICAP (Indira Common Admission process).
Candidates will be called to centres ooted while filling the registration form for GD, PI, if shortlisted.
Shortlisting criteria will be on the basis of admission test scores and past academic performance.

Candidates need to carry the following documents when arrive for GD, PI rounds at the venue:
- 10th and 12th Mark sheets and certificates
- Graduation Mark sheet and Degree Certificate.

Steps to apply online

Fill the online application form (ICAP form).
Candidates have to create a login ID and password for the online application form at the website mentioned above.
Enter your personal, educational, work experience, CAT/XAT /MAT /CMAT /ATMA /GMAT /MAH-CET score.
Upload the score card and scanned caste certificate.
Applicants uploading their CAT score should enter their CAT registration number as well.
Upload the scanned photograph and signature.
Enter your GD, PI centre according to your preference out of the options given.
Pay the application fee online at the ‘Make Payment’ tab.
ICAP application fee is INR 700.
Click on ‘Save’ to save the information.
Once the application filling gets over, record your login credentials and take the hard copy of your application fee for future reference.

Ques. Which course is better PGDM Or MBA?

Ans. Both courses are management programs and are symmetrical in nature. At ISBS for our PGDM Course, ISBS emphasises on practical exposure through multiple ventures such as internships, Career Development Program, Industrial Visits, Projects Assignments, Case Studies etc. for various specialisations such as Marketing, Finance and HR.

Ques. Who can do a PGDM Course?

Ans. There are two eligibility criteria to take admission in AICTE approved PGDM program.

Candidate must have completed graduation with 50% in aggregate (45% in case of reserved category)
Candidate must also have appeared for either one of the entrance tests as specified by AICTE – CAT/MAT/CMAT/MH-CET (for Maharashtra colleges), ATMA & XAT.

Students appearing for final year graduation and appearing for entrance test can also appear, however they need to submit mark sheets of their Graduation degree on or before August 15.

Ques. How can I get admission in PGDM at ISBS?

Ans. Candidates need to appear for the All India Entrance Exam (CAT/MAT/CMAT/MH-CET (for Maharashtra colleges), ATMA & XAT (any one). They need to complete online registration at www.icap.indiraedu.com. After filling the form candidates will have to appear for a GD / PI at the respective centers and based on merit, admission to the PGDM course will be granted.

According to my friends studying at Indira School of Business Studies (ISBS) Pune, it is among the leading PGDM colleges in Pune. ISBS was awarded as the Best Institute Overall in IGI in "WORLD HRD CONGRESS 2019.

They conduct the Comprehensive Career and Leadership Development Program (CLDP) which focuses on skill development of students.
CLDP has an essential role in the teaching and learning curriculum for the PGDM course.
It assists the students in acquiring professional skills and building a personality.
ISBS Pune offers PGDM Course admission as PGDM general and PGDM in marketing in two shifts.
Students can take PGDM course admission in either of these shifts as per their preference.
The infrastructure here is highly developed. Access to the lab is available to its students with wi-fi facilities.
ISBS has a highly qualified faculty. Practical knowledge is given more preference than mugging up from books.

Having friends in both colleges, in my opinion, ISBS Pune is much better than IIM Indore. Let me share some details, as to why I feel this way.

First of all, location-wise, Pune is a really good location as compared to Indore when it comes to looking for jobs as well as lifestyle.
The course curriculum and the faculties are really good at ISBS.
If you are looking for a really good student crowd, you will find that at ISBS and even IIMP Pune.
There are a number of advantages you will get to explore if you join ISBS.
The college has an educational foreign trip to Singapore and also provides laptops to students.
There are also a number of international and national seminars you can attend.
You will also be able to gain a lot of certifications and go for industry visits.
You will also have placement training for GDPI.

Both of them, Jaipuria Institute of management and Indira School of Business Studies are reputed private business schools. Jaipuria, Lucknow is ranked 68 for MBA by NIRF, whereas Indira School of Business Studies is ranked 29 for the same by TOI. Both these institutes are AICTE recognized.

Admission:

Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow- The PGDM program in Marketing offered by Jaipuria is NBA and AIU accredited and is equivalent to MBA.

Jaipuria takes admission on the basis of CAT, MAT, GMAT, scores.
For the final selection, the institute also conducts Group Discussion and Personal Interviews.

The total course fee is 9.45 lakhs.

Indira School of Business Studies-

PGDM admission at Indira is based on the score secured in CAT/XAT/MAT. It also considers MAH CET scores for admission.
The shortlisted candidates need to go through GD, PI, and counseling for admission.

The total course fee at ISBS is 7.2 lakhs.

Indira School of Business Studies Pune is a good college for doing a PGDM degree.

It offers specializations in Marketing, Finance Human Resources along with a general PGDM. The student intake of the institute is around 300.
The faculties are well-qualified. Most of them have PhDs.
Besides classroom learning, there are also frequent industrial visits.
Indira offers great facilities to their students. Everyone is provided with laptops. There are frequent guest sessions and CDP programs. Students are taken on international tours either to Dubai or Singapore.
The placement opportunities offered at Indira are excellent. In the recent placement drive, the highest CTC offered was INR 10.10 LPA. Since the course fee is INR 7.90 lakhs. You will get a good ROI.

In terms of academics, fees, placements, ROI, ISBS Pune is a great option for pursuing PGDM.
