CAT 2023 Admit Card will be released on November 7, 2023, and the exam is scheduled for November 26, 2023. BIMTECH is one of the very few colleges in India to offer a specialized course in Insurance Management. BIMTECH’s PGDM in Insurance Business Management (IBM) achieves a good placement record every year with the majority of recruiters being Insurance Firms. Apart from PGDM in Insurance Business Management, BIMTECH also offers specialized PGDMs in Retail Management and International Business. PGDM in Insurance Business Management (IBM) is a 2-year full-time Fully Residential program. PGDM IBM has a total intake of 60 seats. The total fees for the program is INR 11 Lakhs. Some of the details of PGDM IBM program are as follows:

BIMTECH PGDM IBM Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who are Graduated with a Minimum of 50% Marks.
Candidates appearing for Final Year Graduation Examination can also apply. Such candidates need to produce the final year result of Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate on or before 31st October 2024.

BIMTECH PGDM IBM Selection Criteria

Candidates are required to appear for CAT or XAT or GMAT or MAT or CMAT entrance exam for Admission to PGDM IBM program. CAT / XAT / CMAT / GMAT / MAT scores are not required for NRI, Corporate / NRI, Sponsored Categories & Supernumerary Seats. BIMTECH PGDM IBM Admission Process

The admission process for the PGDM IBM course of BIMTECH involves 3 stages. The steps in the selection process are as follows:

Step 1 - Application

The application form is common for all PGDM courses. Candidates seeking admission for PGDM IBM Programme at BIMTECH need to apply online through the official website www.bimtech.ac.in. The form can be filled out online by paying Rs. 2000/- through Credit or Debit Card.

Step 2 - Selection Process, Call for Personal Interview and Document Verification

The next step is shortlisting the applicants for Personal Interview (PI) based on the overall scores of CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT/MAT percentile. To avoid possible overlapping of the admission process with other B-Schools and to facilitate the early admission offer, BIMTECH schedules PI in two stages.

BIMTECH conducts an early-stage selection process after the third week of December 2023. The said process provides a candidate with an opportunity to appear for the process conveniently. The 2nd round of the selection process is done post declaration of CAT/XAT results after the 2nd week of February 2024. The 2nd round of PI is held for those candidates who get a minimum prescribed cut-off percentile.

Document Verification: Candidates should submit a self attested photocopy of the following documents

Mark List of Class 10th.
Mark List of Class 12th.
Mark List of Graduation (All years / Semesters).
Score card of CAT/GMAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT whichever applicable.

You will have all the necessary facilities and their library is considered the biggest in Greater Noida. BIMTECH provides a very encouraging campus life. The campus houses the residences for the faculty and the students who can utilize all the resources like the Gym, Library, and various other sports facilities such as Badminton, Basketball, Cricket, Table Tennis, etc. The boys’ hostel is located a bit far away from the college itself. But adequate bus facilities are available for the students. ICFAI Business School (IBS) has many campuses across India; Mumbai, Dehradun, Gurgaon, Bangalore (off-campus Hyderabad), Kolkata, Pune, Ahmedabad, and Jaipur. Out of these, only the Hyderabad campus comes close to BIMTECH Greater Noida. The average salary offered during the campus placements for the core PGDM 2018-20 batch of BIMTECH Greater Noida is INR 8.27 lakhs per annum. The percentage placements of the overall batch (all the courses) were 96.59%. If you are really interested in finance and want to build your career in the same, then you can go for IBS Mumbai if you are not getting any other campus.
