Asan Institute of Management was established in the year 1997. It is affiliated to University of Madras. The institute offers postgraduate programs in Management and Computer Studies.
Asan Institute of Management offers full-time MBA and MCA programs for the duration of two-year and three-year respectively.
- Admission to MBA and MCA programs is completely entrance-based.
- Candidates seeking admission to MBA course must have completed graduation in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- The admission will be offered to CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT or TANCET qualified candidates.
- The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their academic performance and entrance exam scores. Such candidates will be invited for group discussion and personal interview rounds at the college campus.
- Final selection to the MBA course takes into account a student’s academic results, entrance exam score and GD & PI performance.
- MCA program requires a pass in graduation with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the compulsory subjects at 10+2 and Graduation level.
- Applicants must also appear for TANCET conducted by Anna University to secure admission in MCA course. Alternately, they can also appear for MCA entrance exam conducted by the Consortium of Professional Colleges in Tamil Nadu.
- Candidates seeking admission under government quota in both MBA and MCA courses must participate in single window counselling conducted every year in the months of July or August at the Government College of Technology, Coimbatore.
- Admission forms can either be downloaded from the college website or obtained from the college office on payment of INR 400 as application fee.
