The Army Institute of Management, Kolkata is a highly recommended college for pursuing a graduate management degree in the city.
Academics:
Campus:
The hostel is compulsory. There are separate hostels for girls and boys. Mess food is good. Ragging is dealt with strict punishment.
Placements:
Alumni:
The vast alumni network is one of the advantages of the institute. There are more than 220 alumni who are currently working in the North American region.
So overall, it is a very good institute for pursuing a management degree.
One of my friends studied at XISS, I can share some details about this institution. XISS has still not been able to make its name among the top colleges of India despite being such an old institute.
It will be better to avoid XISS and take admission in other B-schools like Army Institute of Management, Kolkata which might provide better facilities and placement opportunities to its students. Do thorough research before making a decision.
