Candidates are required to have a bachelor’s degree of a recognized University in any discipline with minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST and category I candidates). Those students whose degrees are considered equivalent by the Mangalore University shall be eligible for admission to MBA, subject to the rules of selection procedure for admission to MBA. Weightage is given to candidates who have work experience in industry/business/armed forces/government, at a supervisory level and those who are sponsored by industry/business houses or family owned business, subject to their qualifying in the test and being called for group discussion and interview. Weightage is also given to additional professional qualifications in chartered accountancy, cost accounting and company secretary ship. Students appearing for final degree examination in the previous year are also eligible to apply, provided the results are made available by the end of July, in the admission year.
