Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is known as the heart of the ‘educational institution’. It is important to evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum so as to ensure that the education imparted is helpful for the students. Here are a few ways which can help in evaluating the curriculum: An internal review by the teachers - The teachers can review and revise the curriculum based on their expertise and knowledge. An external review - An external review can be conducted so as to understand the effectiveness of the curriculum. Observation of academic results - An overview and comparison of the results can also help in understanding better the current curriculum and the previous one. Student’s views - Since students are the ones who shall be studying from that curriculum thus probably we can ask for the student’s views on the curriculum development.

Remarks:

The best answer is almost always an honest answer, but I don’t like this question because it’s misleading. I understand why they ask this and why they phrase it this way, but I still don’t like it. Other than “you meet what we’re looking for in terms of academic performance, growth mindset, interests, and leadership experience”, the next question that colleges are trying to answer is “are you a good fit?” The challenge, then, is to explain why you’re a good fit by identifying what you like about Wattsamatta U, and then explaining how that connects to you, your interests, and your goals.
