Established in the year 1989, Model College, Dombivli located in Thane, Maharashtra is a private institute. Model College Dombivli established by the Keraleeya Samajam. The College has emerged as a leader in the field of commerce and science education in the region. The Management of the College has progressive ideas and works under a minority status (Linguistic Minority).

The college is affiliated with the University of Mumbai, Mumbai and is accredited by NAAC. The college offers education in under-graduation courses in B.Com. and B.Sc. and post-graduation in M.Sc. and M.Com. The College offers direct admission to the undergraduate and post-graduate courses as per the directions of the Govt. of Maharashtra and University of Mumbai.

Applicants to B.Com. and B.Sc. courses must have passed 10+2 examination with minimum 45% marks in aggregate from a recognized board.
Candidates applying in M.Com. and M.Sc. courses must hold Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Management or Science discipline as required with minimum 45% marks.

Final admission to the course will be through scores secured in merit in qualifying exam as well as counseling conducted by the college.
College reserves 50% seats for linguistic minority candidates.
At the time of admission, there is an exemption of 5% marks of the qualifying exam to be eligible for reserved category.

Admission to three-year full-time under-graduate B.Com., BMS and B.Sc. programs is offered by Model College, Thane. three-year B.Sc. course is offered in two specializations namely, Information technology and Computer Science. The minimum eligibility to apply for M.Com. and M.Sc. programs is having passed bachelor’s from a recognized university in a relevant field.
