Every bright student requires financial aid in order to fulfill their need for studying in a reputed educational institution. KCC, being a leading college has a variety of assistance programs provided to demonstrate financial need.
The scholarship programs are available both for UG and PG courses, although eligibility might varies. They are awarded on the basis of academic performances, leadership skills, financial need, and community involvement.
The college is committed to providing scholarships for every need of a student. Last year, KCC awarded Rs.12 Lakhs alone in scholarships and endowments.
The following are the scholarships given by the institution to help accomplish students their dreams:
- Rev. K.C.A. Abraham Scholarship: An academic scholarship is given to the students whose parents are working in the Christian ministry, Christian not-for-profit organization, or Christian service work.
- Esther Abraham Endowment: A full academic scholarship is provided to a student belonging to Polio Home.
- Indian Heritage Scholarship: An academic scholarship for children of parent’s who have served in the Indian Army, Navy or Air Force.
- Dr. Mark K. Sripathi Endowment: An academic scholarship for a female day scholar student desiring to study for the Master of Foreign Trade Program.
- KCC Sportsman Scholarship: An athletic scholarship for students who rank in sports at the State and National levels.
Procedure for applying for Scholarship: Students are required to download Application Form for scholarship and fill in the necessary details. Students can apply to any scholarship for which they meet the eligibility criteria. Interested applicants may view the criteria when applying to the specific award.
After filling up the form, applicants should mail their applications to admissions@kcc.edu.in.
Documents required: Depending on the type of scholarship one is applying for, there will be a requirement of a reference letter recommended from someone who is aware of the applicant’s achievements.
Final Selection:
The application will require a minimum time period of four to six weeks depending on the amount to total applications received.
Each scholarship has a set amount of money available to be awarded. All eligible applicants are screened against the criteria and the most qualified applicant is selected. An email will be sent to applicant’s KCC email account to inform whether they are selected or not.
If successful, a cheque will be sent to the home address applicant have provided to KCC. Therefore, one should check that all contact information is up to date in the application form.
