All the programs are done under the specialisation of Marketing and Finance, in a full time mode.

The basic eligibility for the UG programs is completion of 10+2 level of education with 60% minimum aggregate marks. Candidates appearing for the 12th examination can also apply for the program provided they must have their results while taking admission.

The ones opting for B.Sc (Finance) must have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as subjects in their 12th standard.

BBA applicants must have had Mathematics/Statistics as a subject during 12th standard. Age limit is a maximum of 25 years.

Candidates must also have a valid NMIMS-NPAT score to be eligible for admission into various courses.

Shortlisting for the UG programs are done on the basis of NMIMS-NPAT scores.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview round over email/Call.
Performance during the interview round and past academic records will be considered for creating the merit list for the candidates.
Candidates in the merit list need to complete the admission fee payment and confirm their seat acceptance.

My merit list number in NMIMS NPAT is 2440. Will I be able to get admission in ASMSOC for BBA?

In NMIMS, BBA is not as reputed as the other courses. Many students don’t join the college after the selection so you might get selected in the second or third list.

One of my friends had the rank of 3000 and he got selected in the first list of the Bangalore campus. With a merit number of 2440, you have around a 50% chance of getting admission to the Mumbai campus.

If not in the first list, there’s a fair chance that you will get through the second or third list. Hope this helps.

Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce at NMIMS Mumbai started offering an M.Sc in Finance quite recently. Here are some of the things that you should know about the course.

The course structure is very good and is at par with JBIMS as well.
The college does not have its own hostels. So campus life is virtually zero. But that’s the kind of norm at Mumbai colleges.
Faculty will always be a mixed bag at any school/college. While some may be excellent some may not be so good.
The course fee is around INR 3 lakhs per year which is not cheap by any standard.
It has an intake of only 30 students which has its own advantages and disadvantages.

The placement data are not shared by the institute. So do not expect a salary in the league of the MBAs. Also do not compare it with other top commerce colleges such as DSE.

Both DU and Anil Modi School of Commerce are best in their unique aspects. DU is one of the highly ranked universities in the country. More than 90 colleges are affiliated with the DU campus. Similarly, Anil Modi School of Commerce is also one of the well-known colleges for management studies.

It has been ranked in the #1 position in BBA program by India Today and ranked in #2 position by Times B-School Survey. However, one cannot decide the best college based on the ranking alone.
