St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering (SXCCE) was established in 1998 at Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu. It is affiliated to Anna University and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
St. Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering offers six undergraduate and twelve postgraduate courses. SXCCE also has five research departments recognized by the university. There are 480 seats available for various fields in B.E. program and 60 seats for B.Tech (IT) program. There are approximately 198 seats for M.E and 60 seats for MCA and MBA.
- Candidates seeking admission to the first semester of B.E. / B.Tech. program should pass the Higher Secondary Examinations (10+2) prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu with Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics as three compulsory subjects of study.
- Candidates looking for admission in PG courses are required to pass an appropriate UG from Anna University or equivalent.
- Admission in UG courses is done on the basis of Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling which is conducted online by Anna University.
- Admission in PG courses is done on the basis of Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) conducted by Anna University.
- To secure admission in M.E/M.Tech/MBA/MCA programs, students have to qualify Tamil Nadu Common Entrance (TANCET) followed by central counselling conducted by Tamil Nadu state.
- Applications for admission must be made in the prescribed form available with the prospectus at the campus of the college.
