Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology offers Bachelor Degrees in B.Tech. in three specializations viz. Biotechnology, Food Technology, and Information Technology. SIET B.Tech and B.E Eligibility Criteria

To apply for any Bachelor Engineering program in SIET college:

• Candidates are required to pass in 10+2 examination with 50% of aggregate marks for general category. For OBC category 45% of aggregate marks and for SC, ST and SCA category 40% of aggregate marks are required.
• Candidates must have passed with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as core subjects in their examination.
• Candidates must not be less than 18 years and no exceed the upper age limit of 25 years.
• For reserved category, relaxation of 3 years is given in the upper age limit.
• Candidates are required to appear for the TNEA counselling conducted by Anna University.
• Candidates who belong to different state needs to provide a nativity certificate to the conducting authority. The same applies for the candidates who have completed their 10+2 from other states other than Tamil Nadu
• Son and daughters of All India Service Tamil Nadu Cadre officers are eligible for TNEA 2020.

Selection Process 

• Candidates will be selected on Merit basis in the qualifying examination.
• Selected candidates will go under Counselling by the university. TNEA counselling call letter conducted by Anna University must be downloaded by the candidates.
• Single Window counselling sessions will be given to each candidate and offered admission according to their choice. 
• During the counselling, colleges will be allotted.
• A deposit of INR 5000 will be required to pay initially by the general category. Reserved category applicants will be required to pay INR 1000 AS THE COUNSELLING fee

Candidates are required to apply for the TNEA counsel to get selected for any Bachelor Programs offered by Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology.

• Class 10th and 12th Certificate and Mark sheet
• Identity Proof
• Category Certificate (if any)
• Domicile Certificate (if any)
• Permanent Community Certificate Card for applicants from reserved category
• Six passport size photographs
• Ex-Servicemen Certificate (if any)

To Apply for TNEA counselling 2020

• Visit the official website of TNEA.
• Registration of the candidates is required. Create a login ID and password through email or SMS verification.
• Fill in the personal details and Academic details in the Application Form
• Amount of INR 500 is required to pay for submitting the application Form by the General Category. For reserved category, INR 250 is required to pay.
• After submitting the demand draft of the payment, the application form is submitted to the Authority.
