Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College is an AICTE approved college affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur. The college was established by by Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Trust and is situated 16 km from the famous town of Tirupati.
At present, Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College offers B.Tech programmes in 9 specializations, M.Tech course in 8 specializations along with Master of Computer Applications (MCA). In addition to it, the university also offers several Diploma courses in certain specializations including Mechanical, Civil, Electronics and Communication Engineering.
Key Points regarding Admission:

For applying for M.Tech courses, the candidate must have completed B.Tech degree from any University. The admissions are awarded on the basis of PGCET/GATE results.
The candidates who have obtained a passing certificate of Intermediate (10 + 2) examination conducted by Government of Andhra Pradesh. The merit list of EAMCET is considered while providing admission.
The candidates willing to apply for MCA course must hold a Bachelor's degree from any university. The results of ICET are taken into consideration while selection of candidates.
Any student who has passed 10+2 examination conducted by Board of Secondary Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh or equivalent examination can apply for Diploma courses provided at the institute.
70% of the total seats are allocated on the basis of merit list generated by EAMCET/ ICET examination result. The remaining 30% seats come under NRI/Management quota.
Applications for admission to the university courses can be submitted through online mode. The applicant can obtain the form through the college website.

Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College - B.Tech Admission 2023

Admission to B.Tech programme is done through merit list generated on the basis of by the EAMCET examination conducted by Government of Andhra Pradesh. 80% of the seats are filled on the basis of the EAMCET merit list and the remaining 20% intake is reserved under the category of Management/ NRI quota.

AP-EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test) is an entrance examinations for engineering aspirants aiming to study at one of the prestigious colleges present in the state of Andhra Pradesh. This state level examination is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada.

Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College - M.TECH and MCA Admission 2023

Admissions to M.Tech programme are done on the basis of AP-PGECET or valid GATE score. For MCA, the merit list generated by ICET is taken into consideration.

Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (AP-PGECET) is conducted by Andhra University.

Andhra Pradesh ICET is an entrance examination conducted by Shree Venkateswara University, Tirupati on behalf of APSCHE and the test centers are allocated on first come first serve basis.

Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College - Diploma Admission 2023

Candidates seeking admission to diploma courses available in the second shift of polytechnic college at SVEC should have passed 10th examination conducted by government of Andhra Pradesh or should have passed an equivalent examination. The seats will be awarded on the basis of CEEP examination conducted by government of Andhra Pradesh.
CEEP or Andhra Pradesh State Polytechnic Entrance Exam is an state level examination conducted by State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh for candidates willing to pursue diploma courses. The examination can be given in both offline as well as online mode.

Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College Application Process

Candidates can submit their applications through the online mode by following the steps given below:
The applicant can download the application form through the official college website.
The applicant should follow the steps of instruction provided and submit the completed form along with the required documents within the stipulated time.
Duly filled-in applications should be submitted along with the processing fee (if any) and the required documents within the stipulated time

The application process is same for all the courses.

The documents to be provided at the time of admission are:

Birth certificate - Proof of nationality
Marksheets of all the examinations (10th and 12th)
A valid entrance exam score card (GATE,PGCET,EAMCET,CEEP)

Reservation Criteria

In case of B.Tech admissions, the seats are divided into government quota, management quota and NRI quota. 70 % of the total seats are allocated on the basis of merit list generated by EAMCET whereas remaining seats are reserved for students under management quota and NRI quota collectively.

In case of M.Tech admissions, the seats are allocated on the basis of PGCET or GATE merit list only. No reservations are mentioned on the college website.

For MCA admissions, the seat division is similar to that of the B.Tech courses. 30 % of the total seats are reserved for NRI quota and management quota whereas remaining seats are assigned on the basis of entrance examination, ICET.

Remarks:

You have to write the Ap EAMCET entrance test. If you get your rank below 10k then your chances will be there for the computer science branch for SC/ST category students have to get a rank below 30k. After that, you have to report to the college and have to submit the certificates, and pay the annual fee (if You are not eligible for the reimbursement scheme).

You can visit our college website www.mbu.asia for admissions and you can enter through eapcet also the college code is "MBUTPU1" and 'MBUTPU2'. In "MBUTPU1" all branch seats are available and in "MBUTPU2" only computer science-related seats are available for admission.

I wrote AP EAMCET entrance exam for admission for Btech in certain branch with a rank of 19,324.I applied it on official website of ap eamcet and registered it for the exam.The cut-off marks for my category is 40 marks out of 160 marks.After the result of eamcet exams we have to apply for registration for counselling and attend the counselling allocated to the college to us.
