Sir Chhotu Ram Institute of Engineering and Technology (SCRIET) offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) and B.Tech Lateral entry admission in various specializations viz. Admission to B.Tech and B.Tech Lateral entry offered by SCRIET is done on the basis of marks scored in Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE), conducted by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University.

Candidates who have passed intermediate (PCM) and obtained 55% (Gen/OBC) and 50% SC/ST will be given direct admission in B.Tech as per merit.
Candidates having 55% marks for Gen/OBC and 50% for SC/ST in Diploma/B.Sc. may also apply for direct admission through Lateral Entry in the 2nd Year of B.Tech.
State Govt. has permitted 20% of total sanctioned seats to be filled up on the basis of JEE Main merit for admissions to B.Tech.
10% of them will be filled by U.P. domicile candidates through UP state merit using state reservation policy.
10% seats will be filled through All India Merit candidates without reservation.

In addition to B.Tech program, the college also offers Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) for a duration period of two years and three years respectively. Admission in MBA and MCA is done on the basis of marks scored in Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) conducted by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University.

Candidates seeking admission must register themselves at the institute by submitting duly filled-in application form along with the application fee.

Candidates should log on to the official website of the college and download the application form.
Next, the candidate should fill in the application form with all the relevant details and attach the necessary enclosures.
An application fee of INR 1000 (for Gen/OBC) and INR 600 (for SC/ST) must be submitted through demand draft (DD).
DD should be drawn in favor of "F. O., CCS University, Meerut" and payable at Meerut.
Duly filled-in applications along with the required fee and necessary enclosures must be sent to the university office within the stipulated time.
