MCA is a 3 years PG course for which a student with a graduation degree will be eligible for applying. 

Eligibility Criteria

• The eligibility criteria to pursue MCA at SIMS is that the candidate must be a graduate of any discipline under 10 + 2 + 3 systems from any reputed and recognized University of Odisha or any other University.
• With a minimum of 50% marks (45% for candidates belonging to SC/ ST categories) in the qualifying examination and must have passed XII standard with mathematics as a subject. 
• Business Mathematics at +2 level is not permitted.

Selection Criteria

• The selection in MCA programme is made on the basis of the score obtained by the candidate in OJEE entrance examination. Candidates have to appear for OJEE.
• Final admission will be offered to the candidates on merit basis as per their OJEE score.
• Also, a candidate should have opted Seemanta Engineering College as his / her choice for admission into MCA Programme during the counseling.
