For admission to the M.E program, applicants must qualify either GATE or TANCET and check the requirements before applying for admission. The following section talks about the same:

Must have a bachelor’s in B.E/B.Tech in a relevant subject with 50% to be eligible for admission.

Students who qualify for the GATE exam can also apply through TANCA for admissions.

How to register?

• Candidates have to register through online mode at the Web portal.
• They must enter an active mobile number and email ID.
• Enter relevant personal and educational details 
• Choose the save/submit button.
• Preview the forms and make changes, if required.
• Finally, click submit and save button to make an online fee payment.

Documents Required

Candidates have to upload scanned images of the following given documents while registering for TANCA counselling: 

• Mark sheets of X, XII or Diploma (3 years) Certificate
• Qualifying Degree certificate, provisional certificate and mark sheets of all semesters or Consolidated mark sheet. 
• Transfer certificate from the institution last studied
• Valid GATE scorecard and TANCET hall ticket for GATE qualified category
• Certificate of Disability
• Nativity Certificate only in electronic form / digitally signed e-Certificate. (if applicable)
• Copy of identification certificate obtained from the Head Quarters Tahsildar or Visa, Passport and letter registered in Police Station (For Srilankan Refugee candidates)
• Experience Certificate (if applicable)

How to Apply for GATE?

The applications are accepted through the official website of GOAPS. Where the applicant must register first to create a new registration using one unique email id. 

Documents Required

• Scanned photograph and signature 
• Valid Photo ID (Aadhaar Card/Passport/Driving License/PAN Card/Voter ID/College ID/Employee Identification Card/Notarized Affidavit with Photo, Signature, Date of Birth and Residential Address).
• Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate/Course Completion Certificate.
• Copy of mark sheet of V /VI /VII semester.
• Final year students must submit Provisional Certificate Letter as per format issued by the Home of Institute/Dean/Registrar/Head of Dept.
• Candidates in the final year of AMIE have to submit their mark sheet for Section A of AMIE in case of professional equivalent qualifications.
• Caste Certificate/Disability or PwD Certificate (if applicable).
• Candidates pursuing a higher degree or masters have to submit the qualifying degree certificate.
