SR Institute of Management and Technology offers the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree programme at the undergraduate level. The B.Tech programme is offered under major branches of Engineering (ECE, EE, CSE, ME, IT, CE) including Agriculture Engineering and Biotechnology. The duration of all the B.Tech specializations is four years. The intake capacity varies for different specializations.
In order to get admission to the B.Tech programme, a candidate must have passed the class XII qualifying examination without grace in two compulsory subjects namely Physics and Mathematics and any one of Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology and Technical Vocational subject with a minimum aggregate of 50% (Gen) and 45% (SC/ST) marks in aggregate in required three subjects from any Institute located in U.P or whose parents are domicile of U P.
Candidates seeking admission are advised to appear either in Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) entrance test or in JEE Main Examination. Short Listed Candidates will be considered for Interview / Counseling. Candidates seeking admission in the second year of Engineering can apply through the counselling mode.

- Minimum marks required in the qualifying examination is 45%.
- 5% relaxation of marks is allowed by the institute for SC /ST candidates.
- 75% seats of all branches are allotted according to the merit list of UPSEE and as per State Government directives through online counseling.
- 10% seats of all branches are allotted to candidates residing outside UP according to the merit list of JEE Main as per State Government. Directives through online counseling.
- 15% seats in all branches are management quota seats and are allocated on the basis of merit of the relevant entrance test, as per university guidelines from among the candidates who approaches for admission.
