SMR East Coast College of Engineering and Technology, is affiliated by Anna University of Technology, Trichy & approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Govt. of India, New Delhi. The college provides Placement Training cell functions to train the students outside the curriculum on subjects like communication skills, Personality Development, Aptitude Tests etc. The Cell also organizes mock tests and interviews to prepare the students to face interviews and tests, Placement and Training Cell frequently interacts with the Industry and MNCs and also makes them visit the Institution.
