Rungta College of Engineering and Technology (RCET) is a private engineering college located at Bhilai and Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India. It is managed by the Rungta Group Of Institutions (Santosh Rungta Group Of Institutions). Established in 1999, it is affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, accredited by the NBA, and approved by the AICTE.

RCET mainly focuses on the area of Engineering and Technology along with a few other areas like Computer Application, Business Administration etc. The institute caters B.Tech program at the UG level. At the Master’s level, the institute offers M.Tech, MCA, and MBA. Further, the institute offers admission to 2 diploma courses and Ph.D program across 3 specializations

Admission in B.Tech programme is done either by JEE or by PET Chhattisgarh.

RCET Bhilai B.Tech Admission 2023

The admission in B.Tech is done on the basis of rank secured in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria are only liable to apply for a B.Tech course in this college.

At the PG level, Rungta College of Engineering and Technology (RCET) offers a Master of Technology (M.Tech) in the area of Engineering and Technology. The duration of the program is 2 years.

Candidates seeking admission in M.Tech need to appear in the General Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Apart from the entrance test, the candidate must have qualified for their Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline with minimum required marks. RCET Bhilai MBA, MCA and Ph.D Admission 2023

In addition, the institute offers two PG-level programs like Master of Computer Application (MCA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) to aspiring candidates. The duration period of the MBA and MCA programs is two years. Intake capacity depends upon the nature of specializations as opted by the candidates.

Also, the Institute offers admission to integrated MBA as well MCA courses. Admission to the courses will be merit-based.

Remarks:

The admission process was easy. The admission in charge took admission very fast. The eligibility of the course is 12th pass, jee exam(if given), they also take admission through management quota. You can find its details like the admission form, application fees, and application dates on its official website of college. The area of the college is only about 50 acres, so don't go with one if anyone tells you that it is about 150 acres. There are many branches of b.tech.

Remarks:

It's More like the First Come First get kind of basis because like 30 % seats are filled based on your academic and rest is filled by the students who get first for admission and You can get the admission form at rungta.ac.in application dates generally close till the end of August but you can try because sometimes if semester is late then The admission could be open. There is the benefit of coming first because you get to choose from a huge range of cources and faculty is good. The Admission system is great and you can just get admission from home you just have to send your important documents.
