Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering (RGCE) is a self-financing college which came into existence in 2001 to provide reputed technical education. Initially the college started its journey with courses in three branches viz. ECE, CSE and IT which has now increased to 12 courses.

Located in Sriperumbudur, Tamilnadu the campus is spread over a massive area of 30 acres providing a beautiful and favorable place to learn. The college is approved by AICTE and affiliation to Anna University, Chennai.

RGCE is the first self-financing college in Tamilnadu to introduce Bachelors in Biomedical Engineering and the first in South India to introduce Bachelors in Petroleum Engineering with technical support from ONGC and Aban Offshore Ltd.

The Library is housed in a large area and contains text books, reference books, journals, magazines, newspapers etc. It has a brilliant collection of over 25,500 books, reference volumes, journals and periodicals.

Hostel:
Separate hostel facility is provided to both boys and girls in the campus. The rooms are spacious, ventilated and well-furnished.
