Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology offers four-year degree programs in various engineering disciplines at the undergraduate level in six specializations.

The selection of candidates is done on the basis of marks obtained in the last qualifying exam through Anna University’s TNEA counseling.

The college also offers B.E. Lateral entry admission for which candidates must obtain a Diploma in engineering/technology with a minimum of 50% marks.

Prospective candidates may visit the Anna University website or log on to the dedicated TNEA website and fill the application form online. Candidates seeking admission under the management quota do not require to apply through TNEA. Such candidates may apply directly on the institute level.

Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology B.E/B.Tech Eligibility Criteria:

• Higher Secondary Examination qualified from a recognized board of education.
• Minimum 45% marks should be secured in the qualifying examination.
• Appearing candidates are also eligible for applying.

Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology B.E/B.Tech Selection Criteria:

• Admission to the course will be based on the marks secured in TNEA and Counselling.
• The TNEA application fee for General candidates is INR 500 and INR 250 for candidates belonging to reserved categories.
• Relaxation of 5% is given to reserved category candidates.
• Sri Lankan Tamil refugee candidates are eligible for TNEA counseling, provided they meet all eligibility norms set by Anna University for TNEA candidates.
• Such candidates are however eligible to apply under the open category only.
• Lateral Entry to 2nd year (Semester III) is allowed for all B.E. programs subject to fulfilling all eligibility criteria for the same.
