Prem Prakash Gupta Institute of Engineering and Management is a pioneering engineering institute located in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. It was established in 2009 by the 'Prem Prakash Gupta Charitable Foundation'. The institute is affiliated to AKTU, Lucknow.
PPGIEM offers four B. Tech programs in the fields of Computer Science, Mechanical, Civil and Electrical and Communications, in addition to a Bachelor’s degree program in BBA and BCA. The institute also runs MBA with specializations in Finance, Human Resource, Information Technology, International Business and Marketing.
- Only online mode of application and fee payment is allowed for UPSEE candidates.
- MBA candidates can also apply with CAT/MAT score, in the case of which applicants are required to attend the UPSEE counselling.
- Management quota candidates can apply directly through the institute admission process.
- B. Tech candidates must pass 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics combined.
- Candidates seeking admission to BCA and BBA programs must pass 10+2 with 45% marks.
- For admission to the MBA program, candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks.
- Management quota candidates need to pass the last qualifying exam.
- B. Tech, BBA and BCA candidates are selected on the basis of their respective UPSEE score.
- MBA candidates are selected on the basis of their CET (CAT/ MAT) score.
- In the absence of CET score for MBA admissions, candidates are selected based on their UPSEE rank.
