Candidates can obtain the Application Form in person from the 60 centres (detailed on Anna University’s official website) by paying Rs.500/-(Rs.250/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu, on production of a photocopy of the Permanent Community Card or electronic form / digitally signed e-Certificate) towards application fee, by cash/demand draft.

By Post:

Application Forms can also be obtained by post from "The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA), Anna University, Chennai-600025" by sending a requisition letter along with a Demand Draft for Rs.700/- (Rs.450/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu with a photocopy of the Permanent Community Card or electronic form / digitally signed e-Certificate) and an address label written in capital letters to which the application form is to be mailed

The candidates can also register through internet by logging on to www.annauniv.edu/tnea2015; the procedure for registration is available in the website. All Demand Drafts should be drawn in favour of “The Secretary, Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions” payable at Chennai, drawn on any Nationalised Bank dated on or after 05th May 2015

Candidates are instructed to write the name and address on the reverse side of the Demand Draft

Completed the application forms along with the required documents should be mailed in an A4 size envelope to the address:

Academic Requirement:

• The candidate should be an Indian national.
• Fifty percentage (50%) admission by single window system (DOTE), TNEA, Anna University, Chennai – 25.
• Fifty percentage (50%) admission by Institution Level Quota (Management Quota).
• Candidate should have passed HSc (Std XII) examination of Higher Secondary Education / Central Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Allied subjects & Technical vocational as optional subjects. Minimum score is required for PCM together 50% (45% in case of Backward Class, Minimum pass percentage in case of Scheduled Class).
