PIET Jaipur B.Tech Admission 2023

Poornima Institute of Engineering & Technology offers 4-yearB.Tech degree under four specializations.The minimum eligibility for admission is 10+2 with at least 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ ST/ OBC) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one among Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Computer Science as optional subjects.

Candidates are admitted through the counselling conducted through Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP). They are selected on their rank in JEE Main. Admissions are also based on the merit of the candidates in Class 12^th academic performance.

Important points for B.Tech admission:

REAP Counselling will be conducted in for stages:

Stage 1: for out of Rajasthan candidates (15%).

Stage 2: for the candidates with Rajasthan domicile.

Stage 3: Upward movement (for higher ranking colleges), only for candidates who hold Rajasthan domicile.

Stage 4: Spot Round for all the candidates, for filling the vacant seats.

Candidates will have to pay INR 10,000in advance before the counselling as the tuition fee. In case, no seat is allotted to the candidate through the entire counseling process, the entire tuition fee will be refunded.
Candidates can fill the choices/ options form only after submitting the advance tuition fee through the REAP official website.
Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1992 are eligible to apply.
In thecase of SC/ ST/ OBC candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years.

PIET Jaipur Application Process 2023

REAP application form is to be submitted online on the web portal of Rajasthan Technical University. Here are the steps to apply:

Visit the official website
Select REAP link under the Quick Links Section
Click on the “Registration” link
Click on the Candidates Panel link
Under the Application Form link, select the “Register for REAP” link
Fill the mandatory details.
In case a candidate registers for admission only through class 12^th merit, he/ she will have to attach the copy of class 12^th mark sheet.
The application fee for the registration process is INR 700.
Application fee will have to be submitted online through Debit/ Credit cards or Net Banking

After the successful registration, candidates will have to fill the “application form for B.Tech” and the “Options form”. They have to get the copy of the completed application form for the further reference during the counseling process.

During the physical counseling process, candidates need to carry the following original documents at the reporting institute:

Provisional seat allotment letter was taken from REAP website.
JEE Main scorecard
Class 10^th mark sheet
Class 12^th mark sheet
Caste certificate (if applicable)
Domicile certificate
Certificate for reservation in case candidate applies for admission under the reserved categories.
