At undergraduate level, the college offers Bachelor’s courses in Engineering and Architecture. Final allotment of seats is through counselling conducted by KEA. Merit list of the candidates will be based on the candidate’s score in COMEDK-UGET/KCET for B.E. and NATA for B.Arch.

Applicants for B.E. must possess HSC with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ CS/ Electronics as one of the optional with 45% aggregate marks. Candidates must have Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects with 50% aggregate to apply to B.Arch admission.

Note: Candidates seeking admissions to B.Arch courses must have secured minimum 80 marks out of 200 in NATA.

PDA College of Engineering offers Master’s degree in Technology under 10 disciplines. For admission to M.Tech program, candidates are admitted on the basis of score in Karnataka Postgraduate Entrance Test (PGCET).

Candidates should have obtained B.E./B.Tech degree in the relevant field with at least 50% marks (45% in case of reserved category) from an AICTE/ UGC approved institution recognized by the Government of Karnataka.

Key Points for M.Tech Admission:

• Candidates who have cleared Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) are exempted from the entrance test.
• The institute gives preference to the students who hold domicile certificate of the state.

Selection of candidates in 11 doctoral programs offered by the college is based on VTU Eligibility Test for Research (VTU-ETR) conducted by Visvesvaraya Technological University. Based on the test score, applicants will be shortlisted for interview.

Candidates must hold a recognized Master’s degree in the concerned fields with 60% aggregate as the minimum educational requirement for admission to Ph.D. program.
