PDA College of Engineering was founded in 1958 by the Hyderabad Karnataka Education Society. It is located in Gulbarga, Karnataka. It is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University.

Candidates who have Higher Secondary Examinations certificate can apply for B.E. and B.Arch courses.
For admission to M.Tech program, candidates should hold Bachelor’s degree in the concerned field.
Admission will be based on State/ National level entrance test followed by counselling conducted by KEA.

At undergraduate level, the college offers Bachelor’s courses in Engineering and Architecture. Final allotment of seats is through counselling conducted by KEA. Merit list of the candidates will be based on the candidate’s score in COMEDK-UGET/KCET for B.E. and NATA for B.Arch.

Applicants for B.E. must possess HSC with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ CS/ Electronics as one of the optional with 45% aggregate marks. PDA College of Engineering M.Tech Admission 2023

PDA College of Engineering offers Master’s degree in Technology under 10 disciplines. For admission to M.Tech program, candidates are admitted on the basis of score in Karnataka Postgraduate Entrance Test (PGCET).

Candidates should have obtained B.E./B.Tech degree in the relevant field with at least 50% marks (45% in case of reserved category) from an AICTE/ UGC approved institution recognized by the Government of Karnataka.

Key Points for M.Tech Admission:

Candidates who have cleared Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) are exempted from the entrance test.
The institute gives preference to the students who hold domicile certificate of the state.

PDA College of Engineering Ph.D. Admission 2023

Selection of candidates in 11 doctoral programs offered by the college is based on VTU Eligibility Test for Research (VTU-ETR) conducted by Visvesvaraya Technological University. Based on the test score, applicants will be shortlisted for interview.

Candidates must hold a recognized Master’s degree in the concerned fields with 60% aggregate as the minimum educational requirement for admission to Ph.D. program.

PDA College of Engineering Application Process 2023

The process of application varies from course to course. The detailed application process for each course is as follows:

For B.E. programs:

Candidates can apply through Karnataka CET by visiting the KCET website.
The information brochure can be downloaded from the KCET website.
Candidates are then required to fill and submit the online application form online after filling all the requisite details as given in the information brochure.
Payment of application fees can be made online through e-Challan.
Scanned copies of passport size photograph, candidate’s signature, candidate’s left hand thumb impression and parent’s signature are required to be uploaded.
Candidates must retain the following documents with them as reference for future correspondence.
1. At least three printouts of the finally submitted online application.
2. Proof of fees paid
3. 2-3 copies of identical photograph that scanned and uploaded on the online application.

Note: The process of application is the same as that of B.E. for M. Tech course. However, candidates must apply through the PGCET link instead of KCET link.
