Nehru Institute of Engineering and Technology (NIET) was founded in the year 2006 in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. NIET is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.

The institute offers BE, ME, MBA and MBA courses at UG and PG level.

Candidates can apply online and offline for admission into any UG/ PG course offered by the college. Application form could be filled online and could be collected from the Admission Center of the college in person.
Application fee could be paid in cash or through Demand Draft.
Applicants who have completed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved category) in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics when calculated together are eligible to apply for BE admission.
Candidates who hold BE/ B.Tech degree in the concerned discipline are considered eligible to apply for ME admission.
Students who hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from any AICTE approved University are eligible to get admission into MBA/ MCA program.
Admission to the candidates into BE course is given through TNEA counselling and admission in ME, MBA and MCA programs is given through TANCET.

Nehru Institute of Engineering and Technology B.E Admission 2023

A four-year B.E in 2 specializations is offered by Nehru Institute of Engineering and Technology to the aspirants. Applicants who have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized board and have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are eligible to apply for BE admission.

Admission to the shortlisted candidates is given through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) conducted by Anna University.

Nehru Institute of Engineering and Technology M.E, MBA and MCA Admission 2023

Candidates should have a B.E/ B.Tech degree to get admission into ME course. For MBA or MCA courses, it is compulsory to hold a Bachelor Degree in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate marks.

Admission to the eligible candidates into any PG course is given through TANCET conducted by Anna University.

On the “Apply Online” option
Fill the form with correct details
Save the details and submit it online.

Steps to apply in offline mode:

Collect the application form in person from the college’s Admission Center by paying the application fee.
Fill out the form with all the required data.
Attach all the documents and submit the application form before the last date of submission at the Admission Center.

Remarks:

No entrance exam. I will directly go with counseling for TNEA. After that, I will attend the counseling for college and the course selection process. After that get in provisional allotment order after joining our college.

Remarks:

1.65% marks in 12th is eligible for application. 2. All application forms available on www.annauniversity.com can be applied through counseling. it will reduce your fees by up to 20% according to your marks. 3. If you have a first graduate certificate fees reduce to 10000rs per year. 4. The admission process takes place in Kuniyamuthur, Coimbatore which is a little far from NIET College (approx.10km).
