National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology offers a variety of degree, diploma and certificate courses at UG, PG and doctorate levels. The admission process of these courses is as follows:

The admission of B.Tech. is based on the JEE Mains followed by counselling administered by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA).
Candidates entering M.Tech. must have a valid GATE score.
The centre conducts entrance examinations for Diploma in Electronic Production and Maintenance (DEPM).
Doctoral admission is based on the Dr. BAM University's PhD Entrance Test (PET).
The candidates need to separately apply for JEE-MAIN and GATE for entrance-based admissions.

Ans. If a candidate fails to qualify all papers of a particular Level within the validity period of the Registration, he/she has to Re-Register and appear for the remaining papers. One can apply for Re-Registration within a one year after the expiry of the validity of his/her registration. Validity of the Registration will then be extended for one time with the maximum of another full term i.e. 5/6 years to clear the left-out papers/project/practical.
