Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with 50% marks ( 40% for SC/ST) in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
- Other state candidates should have scored 60% marks in the relevant subjects.
Selection Criteria
- Candidates are selected based on the merit in the TNEA counselling.
- TNEA Merit list is prepared based on the candidate's marks scored in the relevant subjects like Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics at 10+2 level.
- Applicants can participate in the counselling only after the successful payment of the initial deposit.
- According to the payment schedule of the rounds, candidates have to submit the initial counselling fee through online mode of payment
- During counselling, candidates have to fill the choice of course and college as per their preference.
- Post choice filling, candidates have to lock them.
- Seats will be allotted based on merit, choices filled and seats available.
- After the final allotment, candidates have to reach the allotted college before the last date mentioned on the provisional allotment letter

Candidates can apply for TNEA counselling by following the stepwise procedure mention below:
- Fill the online form with correct details by registering on the official website of Anna University
- Carefully fill all the personal and academic details.
- Upload recently clicked colored passport-sized photographs, thumb impression, and signature.
- Complete the payment process by using a preferred mode.
- Keep the application form safely so that it can be used in the later process of selection.
- In the case of an offline application, a newly clicked colored passport photograph (not more than 3 months old) is to be pasted.
- Once the application is successfully submitted or completed, candidates have to send it along with the necessary documents to the college.
