Marwar Engineering College and Research Centre (MECRC), Jodhpur was established in 2003 under the aegis of Suryanagari Educational Society. College was established with a sole aim to impart quality education to the youth of Rajasthan.

Merit-cum-means scholarship scheme for minority communities: The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the poor and meritorious students belonging to minority communities (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, and Buddhists & Parsis) to enable them to pursue professional and technical courses.
