Malout Institute of Management and Information Technology was established in the year 1998. The college offers Bachelor Programme in various fields of Engineering and Master in Business Administration

Girls Basketball Team has reached in the Final of PTU Inter College Basketball Tournament in 3rd consecutive year and won the Silver Medal in PTU Inter College Basketball Tournament-2014. Institute’s Athletics Team has won many Medals in PTU Inter College Athletic Meet-2013-14
