The institute accepts admissions for its government quota seats through TNEA counselling conducted by Anna University.
For management quota admissions, candidates do not require to register for counselling conducted by the University and can apply to the institute directly.
For applying in the institute, the application process has to be completed in offline mode.
TNEA Counselling
- Candidates must register for TNEA counselling by visiting the Anna University website and filling the online application/ registration form.
- The prescribed application fee for TNEA counselling can be paid online through various payment modes such as credit/ debit card, internet banking etc.
- Candidates must take a printout of the complete application form and send a copy of the same to the Director (Admissions), Anna University.
- After declaration of the merit list, candidates must download the counselling call letter and visit the counselling venue on the assigned dates along with all relevant documents (original & photocopies) and a demand draft of INR 5000.
- Upon completion of the process of exercising options, candidate is offered an allotment order which needs to be signed by the applicant and the demand draft for counselling fee handed over.
- Lastly, candidate must report at the college and submit the allotment order to confirm his/her admission.

Eligibility:
The selection of the candidates is based on merit in the qualifying examination and counselling conducted by the Anna University.
Selection Process:
The minimum eligibility requirements for BE are passed in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects and score at least 50% marks.
Key Points:
- The minimum qualifying percentage for BC/BM candidates is 45% and MBC and DNC/SC/ST/SCA is 40%.
- Candidates who have passed the higher secondary examinations of the vocational stream are also eligible for admission in BE program.
