L.J. Institute of Engineering and Technology (LJIET) offers a 4-year B.Tech program in 9 streams and a 2-year M.Tech program in 6 streams at UG and PG levels. LJIET also offers other PG level programs such as MBA and MCA. LJIET is affiliated to Gujarat Technical University (GTU).

  • Admissions to MBA program is based on the marks obtained by the applicant in CMAT followed by an interview.
  • GATE or PGECET score is mandatory to secure admission in the M.Tech program.
  • For admission to any of the B.Tech course, the candidates need to clear the minimum cut-off in JEE Main or Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET)
  • The Centralized Admission process is followed by LJIET for both UG and PG programs i.e.  a complete cycle from application to the final admission of the candidates followed by fee deposition. This process is conducted by Joint Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) of the State.

LJIET B.Tech Admission 2023

L.J. Institute of Engineering and Technology (LJIET) offers B.Tech in 9 streams. The admission is offered on the basis of GUJCET conducted by GTU followed by the counselling process. Minimum 60% marks are required to qualify in GUJCET. Candidates with good JEE Main score are also given preference at the time of admission.

  • ACPC offers 75% seats for all the courses offered at LJIET.
  • Total 1020 seats are available for UG and PG programs offered by LJIET under Gujarat Engineering Admissions.

LJIET M.Tech Admission 2023

LJIET offers M.Tech/M.E program in 6 streams. Candidates applying for admissions to M. E/M.Tech program at LJIET must have cleared GATE or PGECET successfully. M.E/M.Tech applicant must hold a B.Tech degree in the corresponding stream with 55% marks (5% relaxation for ST/SC) in aggregate.

User Facts:

  • The total intake for 1st shift in Computer Science branch is 48 and 18 for Electronics and Communication while for all others the total intake is 24 each.
  • M.E/M.Tech program in CAD/CAM is offered in 2nd shift only.
  • The 2nd shift for the M.E/M.Tech program is also available in 3 branches, namely, Electronics and Communication, Computer Science and CAD/CAM.
  • The total intake remains 24 for each of the 3 branches in the 2nd shift.

LJIET MBA & MCA Admission 2023

For admissions to MBA program, the candidates must be graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate (5% relaxation for reserved categories). MBA admissions at LJIET are based on the marks obtained by the applicant in CMAT.

For MCA program, the candidates must hold a BCA or B. Tech/B.E degree in Information Technology with a minimum of 50% and 45% for the reserved categories.

LJIET Application Process 2023

Admissions to LJIET is controlled by ACPC followed by the counselling process of Gujarat Engineering Admissions. The registration fee of INR 350 is charged from applicants. After registration, the applicants can choose LJIET as one of the choices in the list of colleges applying for.

During the counselling process, if the applicant gets selected for any course at LJIET, he/she needs to pay the tuition fees in order to get the seat reserved. Also, for further admission process selected

At the time of counselling the applicant needs to submit all the original documents. 

  • 10th and 12th mark sheet and Certificate
  • Scanned copies of passport size photographs and signature
  • Address proof
  • Provisional Degree/ Diploma Certificate in the case of applying for any PG course
  • Government authentic certificate for reserved classes
  • Transfer and Migration Certificate

LJIET Scholarship and Reservation Details 2023

LJIET College also assists candidates to obtain a scholarship from the Welfare Department of Government of Gujarat. The candidates can even get scholarships through education loan scheme of Gujarat Minorities Development and Finance Corporation for students of minority communities.

Scholarships are offered by GTU to the candidates on the basis of merit. Additionally, the stipend is also paid to those eligible candidates who have obtained high scores in GATE. The amount can be reduced from 80% to 85% of the college fees depending upon the rank of the candidate in GATE.

Fee relaxation is offered by the Gujarat Government to those belonging to other backward classes or candidates from reserved categories. The candidates belonging to a financially weak class are also offered TWFS seats by GTU.

Remarks:

My admission in L J Institute Of Engineering And Technology in Computer Engineering branch required 2 major qualifications where the first was my 12th board percentage and the other was one GUJCET entrance exam. Cutoff at my admission time was roughly around 4000 ACPC rank.

you can take admission via ACPC. ACPC conduct admission rounds. you have to apply for acpc and acpc declare rounds and you have to check for which college you selected. there are 4 rounds.3 are online and the rest is offline.

Remarks:

The admission was on the basis of directly from acpc rank. We got acpc rank through the percentile rank 12th and a percentile rank of the GUJCET exam. All the process of admission was through acpc committee.

Remarks:

I take admission through threw acpc committee. there is a total of 4 rounds in acpc process first three rounds are online and the remaining rounds are offline. I take admitted in 3 around in lj institute of technology. I very satisfy this admission.

Remarks:

First in the fall filing the acpc form and in the admission process total of 4 rounds are there first 3 rounds are online and the remaining round is offline I take admission in 3 rounds and then I learn lots of things in my college.

The admission process is very good and not difficult for new students. Every teacher is very supportive and very good at nature. I personally get comfort with the facilities at the first meeting of admission counselling

Remarks:

The minimum Eligibility for the admission in ljiet is around 20000 Àcpc rank. In which you get the last course.I belong to general category due to which i was not able to get any benifits,but my friend got because of Sc/St.
