LBS Institute of Technology offers four-year Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree program under five branches of engineering. The total annual intake for all the B.Tech specializations is 360 seats. In addition, the institute also provides B.Tech lateral program in similar specializations with the total intake of 18 seats.
Admission to the B.Tech course is on the basis of merit in the Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical Degree (KEAM) Common Entrance Examination, conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Govt. of Kerala.
The criteria for B.Tech degree admission is prescribed by the CEE, Govt. of Kerala. candidates willing to apply for the B.Tech course must have passed in the 10 +2 level examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following subjects: Chemistry/ Computer Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Biology. Candidates must have obtained a minimum score of 65% marks aggregate overall and 70% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) in the 10+2 level examination.
Candidates who have successfully completed Diploma in relevant branch of Engineering and obtained at least 50% marks, may also apply for the B.Tech lateral program. However, the eligible ones need to appear in B.Tech Lateral Entry Entrance Examination (LEET) conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Kerala.
