In Engineering, the institute offers a four-year degree course of B.Tech. in six specializations. Admission to second year B.Tech. is also offered by the institute through Lateral Entry.
Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination in Science stream with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/ Bio-Technology /Computer Science /Biology as an optional subject for B.Tech.
For B.Tech Lateral entry, candidate must have passed B.Sc. or Diploma with minimum 60% marks from any recognized University.
80% of the seats are reserved for regular B.Tech. and rest 20% are for Lateral Entry.
Admission to B.Tech is done on the basis of UPSEE/JEE Main score.
Admission to B.Tech (Lateral) is done on the basis of LEET Exam.
Remaining seats are filled through institute level counselling for candidates fulfilling the admission criteria.

Key points for B.Tech and B.Tech (Lateral Entry) Admission:
- For the Lateral Entry admission, candidate must hold a Diploma in Engineering or Technology of three-year duration from Board of Technical Education Haryana.
- Candidate have to appear and qualify 30 minutes test for B.Tech admission (MCQ of PCM and Aptitude).
