Jaya Prakash Narayan College of Engineering offers engineering diploma and degree programs in various disciplines. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the diploma programs is a pass in Class X with mathematics and science as subjects. B. Tech candidates are required to pass 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in PCM.

Selection of diploma candidates is done on the basis of merit, i.e. marks obtained in the last qualifying exam. B. Tech candidates are selected on the basis of marks obtained in the state level engineering exam (AP EAMCET).

Key Points:

• B. Tech candidates can seek admission through EAMCET counselling only. Management candidates however do not require to take the entrance exam. 
• A relaxation of 5% marks is allowed to candidates belonging to reserved categories.
• Diploma candidates can apply through the institute website by filling the online application form or by sending a copy of the filled in application form to the institute office along with a DD of the prescribed application fee.

The College offers five M. Tech programs and a MBA program under its PG section. The basic eligibility criteria for admission to M. Tech programs is a bachelor’s degree in engineering (B. Tech / B.E.) in the relevant or allied discipline with 50% minimum marks. The applicants can apply with a valid GATE score based on which selection is done. Applicants without a GATE score are required to appear for APPGECET.

For the MBA program, a graduate degree with minimum 50% marks is the minimum required eligibility criteria. MBA candidates are selected on the basis of rank score in ICET exam. Candidates seeking admission to MBA or M. Tech programs are required apply though their respective entrance portals through online mode of application.

Note: Seats are filled on the basis of APPGECET score only after exhaustion of GATE candidates.
