B.Tech and B.Tech (Lateral) Eligibility

B.Tech program: A candidate must have passed the 10+2 level examination with Physics & Mathematics, and anyone of Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Computer Application, Computer Science, or Technical Vocational subject as a compulsory subject.
B.Tech (Lateral) program: Candidates must have a B.sc. degree or a diploma in the relevant branch.
Candidates must have secured a minimum of 45% marks in 10+2 examination. For ST/SC/OBC candidates, the minimum securing percentage is 40%.
Students should have at least 30% marks in English in 10+2.
The minimum age limit for applying for admission in the B.Tech program is 17 years as on 31.12.2021. There is no upper age limit.

B.Tech and B.Tech (Lateral) Selection Criteria

B.Tech:

Admission to these courses can take place either according to the marks obtained in WBJEE conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Boards Examination or valid score in JEE MAIN.
The selection will be provided based on marks obtained by the students in these examinations (JEE MAIN or WBJEE).
