CCET offers 4 year B.E courses under 5 disciplines for which the annual intake is 360 students. Admissions to BE program at CCET are done on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, reduced to 200. Admissions will be conducted through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling process.
Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) with Physics, Chemistry and mathematics as compulsory subjects and at least 50% average marks put together of all three subjects.

The children of Central Government employees will also be eligible for admissions even if they are not domicile residents of the state, provided their parents have been serving in Tamil Nadu for past 5 years.
Applicants who are not the residents of the State but have completed their 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th from Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply for admissions without having to enclose their nativity certificate.
