CIPET Chennai BTech admission 2024 is done through the TNEA exam. The TNEA tentative exam 2024 dates have been announced. The start date of the online TNEA registration is May 4, 2024. The last date of registration for the same is June 4, 2024. Candidates can apply for TNEA through its official website.

For the postgraduate programme, students have the option to go for M.E and M.Sc Programs. As mentioned earlier, the college also provides diploma courses in plastic technology both at the graduate or postgraduate level.

Admissions to the college are conducted on the basis of CIPET JEE. Along with a valid CIPET JEE score, candidates must fulfil the following to be eligible for the various course:
For the Post Graduate programmes, the candidates must have a B.E. / B.Tech degree with relevant subjects and a valid CIPET JEE score card
In order to be eligible for the undergraduate programmes, the candidates must have passed H.Sc or 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Maths and a valid CIPET JEE Score Card
The requirements for the Diploma course is simply 10th Standards with Maths, Science and English as elective subjects

Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology, Chennai is a Public College. CIPET was established in 1968 by the Government of India with the assistance of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and it is managed by the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, India.
